TNULM has been augmenting the efforts of Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board by providing them volunteers for household survey of water connections:

1. Tamil Nadu Urban Livelihoods Mission through its CLC network is offering the services of Urban SHG women to undertake survey of households for water service connections, water quality monitoring and to create awareness on rain water harvesting structures.
2. 1000 members who own and operate smart phones are chosen from across the 15 zones for the survey activity.
3. They are paid an honorarium of INR 500 per day for the survey activity.
4. City Livelihood Center, Gopalapuram shall receive a payment of 5% of the total honorarium cost as service fee for coordinating the activities.
